The installation of the new iconography in our church has been completed. Iconographers Panagiotis and Demetri Christodoulou’s beautiful work now adorns the walls and ceiling of St. Demetrios.

A GOYA Summer!
Our St. Demetrios GOYA had a fantastic week of sun and fun! From a day at Bradley Beach, knockerball and a Met’s Game to the movies, a trip to Ellis Island, a BBQ and pool party our GOYANs bonded and celebrated summer. The week was topped off by a visit to Agia Skepi Monastery.
A big thank you to Cindy & Nick Giannakopoulos and Demetra Wagner for organizing all of the outings and activities, and Jennifer & Demos Simatos and Lisa Meyer for chaperoning.
GOYA Celebrating Summer!
St. Demetrios GOYA are enjoying a fun-filled week of activities including a visit to Bradley Beach and Knockerball! They will be celebrating summer with a movie, a pool party and bbq as well as a Met’s Game. A big thank you to Nick and Cindy Giannokopoulos and Demetra Wagner for organizing and chaperoning all events.

Greek School Registration
Dear Parents:
Registration for Greek School for the 2017-2018 school year is taking place now, until the end of August. We need to know how many students we will have so that we can order the Greek books and other materials.

Πρεπει να γνωρισομε τον αριθμο των παιδιων μεχρι τοτε για να μπορουμε να παραγγειλωμε τα βιβλια τους και οτι αλλο χρειαζεται.

Vacation Church School Is Underway!
From Monday, June 26 until Friday, June 30, our children are enjoying our Summer Vacation Church School! The theme is “Behold The Light” celebrating and teaching the feasts of the life of Jesus.
Helen Horan, Maria Mantoudakis and Kally Durso are making it a memorable experience with fantastic lessons and fun crafts!

Alex Vosinas Honored as Father of the Year
On Father’s Day, Alex Vosinas was honored at St. Demetrios as “Father of the Year.”
No Tray Collection July-August
Beginning Sunday, July 2nd through the end of August, there will be NO TRAY COLLECTION. We ask all to contribute when buying candles or exiting the church.
